Who’s In Favor?
A residents’ meeting in an apartment building.
On the agenda: renovating the bomb shelter, solving the garbage bag problem at the entrance,
and other matters of great importance… to the building.
Just as the meeting is about to end,
one of the apartment owners casually mentions that he intends to rent out his apartment to a person coping with mental illness.
“You mean a crazy person?” one of the neighbors asks.
“No,” comes the reply, “a person coping with mental illness.”
From that moment on, the meeting spirals into a stormy and emotional confrontation between the neighbors.
Old grudges resurface, illegal balconies become real threats, and somewhere – no one is quite sure where – a rat is roaming around.
A wild comedy about neighbors, stairwells, fear of the unknown, and stigma.
This performance contains flashing lights.
